Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services

In-home and in the community options

Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs are highly individualized and are provided with a one-to-one structure.

Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services are tailored to each child’s strengths and individual needs.

Early Start services for children, including infants and toddlers ages birth to three years

Through an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), our Early Start services program is designed to enable you to better address your child’s unique needs.

Our interventionists and supervisors provide intervention, ideas, and support so that you can help your child learn new skills.

Early Intervention Behavior Training Services (EIBT)

This program provides intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children, including infants and toddlers ages birth to three years.

Through the use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, we focus on teaching appropriate language and learning skills.

Our practitioners provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to reduce challenging behaviors.

Parent Support Behavior Intervention services

Providing parents with appropriate practical strategies they can implement in their daily activities and routines.

Our Parent Support Behavior Intervention services incorporate research-based interventions into all aspects of the program to improve skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

The goal of our Parent Support Behavior Intervention program is to provide parents and caregivers with the necessary information, principles, and training to help them with their daily activities and routines and better interact with their children.

Psychological Testing and Services

at our Bakersfield office include:

Adult assessments, consultations, and support

Unique research-based assessments and/or personal consultation with a psychologist (PhD) for adults who may be identifying recurring difficulties in an area of their lives.

Adults assessments for attention deficit, memory, intellectual giftedness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a wide variety of other areas.

Adult social skills training and development groups are available.

Child testing - Individualized assessments for children

These evaluations help parents obtain the necessary information to help clarify their child’s needs, whether they be in the area of giftedness, attention, memory, language development, social skills or another behavior or skill.

Assessments are based on your unique goals and concerns, and include tests and assessments that your child’s school may be unable to provide.

All evaluations are confidential and may be used to inform your child’s potential treatment or an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) already in progress.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Identification

Many parents identify behaviors in their children that they associate with Autism Spectrum Disorder. At California Spectrum Services, parents can consult with an experienced psychologist to determine the best course of action.

Based on their consultation with an experienced and knowledgeable psychologist, parents may then decide to pursue diagnostic assessments and evaluation.

Social skills training groups for adults, teens or children

Social skills are taught explicitly and are systematically generalized across settings.

Social skills are taught through didactic lesson and role-play demonstrations, and practiced during group socialization activities.

Teacher trainings and services, including classroom management strategies, behavior supports and curriculum consultation.
